For results the XW-100 analyzer determines are outside the reference range, the following may occur:
The analyzer may ask for frequent retests to confirm the accuracy of its initial results.

4) “****” (suppressed result) displays, plus an “ALERT L” flag
5) numeric result displays, plus an “ALERT H” flag
A results printout is produced by the instrument when testing is fully completed.
Blood parameters can be complicated to measure. The complexity of the sample and underlying patient conditions may result in suppression of results. This will appear as 4 asterisks (****) where in most cases a result would be generated. These results are suppressed to prevent inaccurate reporting.
