PRINTER
The XW-100 prints all results on a built-in thermal printer. No results are displayed on-screen to eliminate any need for operator interpretation or transcription.
The thermal printout is not permanent. For this reason, it is recommended the operator make a photocopy of the printout for inclusion in medical records.
The XW-100 currently does not have the ability to interface with an LIS or EMR system.
Only the internal printer can be used to print results.
